About CDOIL
Center for Development of Interest in Learning (CDOIL) is a nonprofit research and development organization focused to research, develop and disseminate Goal and Task Thinking Methods (GTTM) and materials. We define Goal Thinking as a process through which one determines an advantage in a task situation; and Task Thinking as a process through which one addresses a task or seeks to secure an advantage. When properly combined, Goal and Task Thinking reinforce each other.
We produce and provide Goal and Task Thinking methods in the form of developed instructional materials technologies, consultations, journals/articles and books publications to writers, researchers, educators and students.
Researchers and staff developers in CDOIL include academic philosophers, cognitive Scientists, clinical/school psychologists, technologists, curriculum developers, K-12 professional developers, and more.
